However, if you haven't, you need to go to the store right now, buy the following ingredients, and make this recipe.
Creamy Avocado Chocolate Pudding
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
splash of almond milk/coconut milk/soy milk/milk
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave and then pour into food processor or blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend.
The dark dots you see are my chocolate chips I added and didn't melt. They didn't blend as well as the melted ones, so next time I'll just melt them all. The measurements on the ingredients are an estimate, because I didn't measure my chocolate chips, and you can always add more or less. Most recipes for raw pudding like this call for agave syrup or maple syrup,(and this recipe did too) and they call for cacao powder (which I didn't have) so I used chocolate chips and sugar instead. You might not even have to add the sugar if you didn't want it as sweet. Even with my improvisions and substitutions I was still blown away with the result.
Every time I read someone's blog who has just made raw avocado pudding they are yammering on and on about how amazing it tastes and how creamy it is and how decadent and delicious the pudding is.
I am here to say it is all true.
I could not have made a healthier, more satisfying, delicious dessert.
Now go make it!
